Paste view-source. The checker reads the title, the description, the canonical, and the headings in the browser. Nothing is uploaded.
What to paste
View source on the live URL and copy the document, or at least the head plus the H1. A CMS preview is the wrong input. The tag Google fetches is the one on the public response.
How to read the notes
Titles work best between 30 and 60 characters. Descriptions work best between 70 and 155. Those are snippet windows, not ranking scores. A missing canonical or a noindex is a harder problem than a title that is five characters long.
Then crawl the site
One page can look perfect while the template is wrong everywhere else. The free website SEO check runs the same questions across the crawl and writes the fix list.
One title
Unique to the page, then the brand.
One description
What the page is and who it is for.
One H1
The same intent as the title, not a duplicate slogan.
This tool does not. Pasting source avoids turning the page into an open proxy. The product crawl fetches public pages when you start a check.
Will a perfect title rank the page?
No. It removes one reason to ignore the page. Indexation and links still matter.
Why is Fix SEO Today cheaper?
Reading a title inside Ahrefs or Semrush is extremely expensive. Those four tags are already in the page source. Fix SEO Today is cheaper because you pay for the diagnosis. A free peek, then $19 a month for one project or $99 a month for unlimited projects. That covers the crawl and the plain-English fix list, including GEO. It leaves out the backlink index, the rank-tracker seats, and the ads module.
