Lighthouse is a lab audit of one URL: performance, accessibility, and a short list of SEO checks. It is free and it is not a site diagnosis.
What a Lighthouse run tells you
You learn how that document behaved in a controlled browser: render-blocking work, contrast, image size, a missing meta description. That is useful for the template. It does not know that forty other URLs are noindexed, orphaned, or canonicalized to the wrong host.
The score trap
Teams spend a quarter chasing a green circle while the sitemap lists redirects and the money page returns a soft 404. Performance matters after the page can be fetched and understood. A 100 SEO score in Lighthouse can still be a page Google will not keep.
Crawl first
We crawl the site, then talk about speed where the HTML itself is slow or heavy. Indexation, titles, internal links, and GEO sit above the lab score. Use Lighthouse on the template after the crawl says the page should exist.
Pick Lighthouse
One URL, lab performance, and front-end accessibility hints.
Pick Fix SEO Today
Whether the site can be found, indexed, and cited.
Order
Access, indexation, clarity, links, then the lab score.
No. Keep it for performance work on a page you have already decided to keep. We will not pretend a crawl is a lab trace.
Do you flag slow HTML?
Yes, when the document is heavy or the server is slow to send it. That is separate from a Lighthouse performance score.
Why is Fix SEO Today cheaper?
Lighthouse is free to run. The SEO suites teams pair with it are extremely expensive, and a lab score still does not name the page to fix first. Fix SEO Today is cheaper because you pay for the diagnosis. A free peek, then $19 a month for one project or $99 a month for unlimited projects. That covers the crawl and the plain-English fix list, including GEO. It leaves out the backlink index, the rank-tracker seats, and the ads module.
